# BIOS setup MSI

## Flash BIOS

1. Download your BIOS file from the manufacturer's site
2. Go into your BIOS
3. Update it to a newer or to the same version

## Enter BIOS&#x20;

1. Boot PC
2. Spam **F2** until you are in the BIOS

## Disable TPM

1. Navigate to the **Security** tab
2. Scroll down to the **Trusted Computing** category
3. Set the **Security Device** **Support** option to **Disabled**

## Disable CSM

1. Navigate to the **BIOS** or **Security** tab
2. Scroll down to the **Advanced** tab
3. Select **Windows 8/8.1 Configuration**
4. Set **Windows 8/8.1 Feature** to **Enabled**

## Set to UEFI mode

1. Navigate to the **Settings** tab
2. Scroll down to the **Advanced** category
3. Set **BIOS UEFI/CSM Mode** to **UEFI**

## Disable secure boot

1. Navigate to the **System Configuration** tab
2. Scroll down to the **BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU)**
3. Select **Server Security**
4. Select **Secure Boot Settings**
5. Set **Secure Boot Enforcement** to **Disabled**
